While our families are only hosting Friday night and all day Saturday - we have a few other optional activities/traditions that we would love for you to consider joining us for.
Thursday 4.24
Most people will be arriving this day
Settle in to your space and maybe even head to Publix for some personal groceries
Come on over to the Cay Condos for some beach hanging
The Bride and Groom and our family will be at Sparky’s Landing sometime between 5-8. Stop on by and grab yourself some food or drinks and sit with us!
Depending on the time we might go watch the sunset at Sunset Beach around 8pm - but who knows!
Text one of us to figure out where we are exactly ;)
Friday 4.25
Optional water sports adventure day (think: play with dolphins, snorkeling, kayaking, or sunbathing)
Otherwise just hang on the beach all day and enjoy the Keys!
We will try to have a snorkeling trip organized that you will need to let us know if you want to come on by Thursday. There might only be room for 50 guests on the boat. You can always come and not snorkel!
Around 6pm that day we will meet our photographer on the beach and you’re free to come hang and drink there too!
The Bride and Groom will do their own photos there for a bit after family portraits and we would like everyone to head to Irie Island Eats by 630pm - we will join you at 7.
It will be a sober event so figure your drinks out before ;) but also, you will want to get to bed early ish Friday since our wedding is starting at 11am sharp Saturday.
Saturday 4.26
Wedding ceremony at 11am sharp

and beach hang all day
Siesta
530pm please arrive back out on the beach (you can repeat your outfit or have a new one) for some dancing at 545 and dinner around 6 (location TBD, but probably the family condo beach where we are also doing the mornings ceremony)
The sun will set around 8pm and we will have a cake cutting, cuban cigars maybe, and sparklers. Join us at the bar next door (Havana Jack’s) around 930/10pm if you want to continue the fun!

FOOD AND DRINK PLAN! PLEASE NOTE WHAT MEALS/DRINKS WE ARE PROVIDING AND WHEN YOU MIGHT WANT TO PROVIDE SOME FOR YOURSELF:
THURSDAY
LUNCH: whomever is going to be around by Thursday for lunch we would love to have you join us at Herbie’s! It’s about an 8 minute drive from The Cay Condos on the island of Marathon. It was on Diners, Drive In’s and Bars and is one of our favorites. We will not be covering this meal for everyone.
DINNER: the bride and groom and their families will be hanging out at Sparky’s Landing (10 minute walk from the Cay Condos) and you can easily order your own drinks or food at the bar. we won’t be covering anything this evening.
SATURDAY
BREAKFAST: you might want to figure out your own food and coffee situation before the ceremony (starts at 11am sharp) - but then we will have a delicious catered brunch right after for everyone! Mimosas will be served, but maybe not any coffee.
LUNCH: we will order some chips and sandwiches to the beach for everyone!
DRINKS: we are planning to have a variety of wine, beer, and grapefruit gin and tonics out Friday and Saturday. and of course lots of NA options. please consider bringing your own beverage if you want something different. we also ask that you bring your own cups for all beverages- glass won’t be allowed on the beach and we aren’t fans of single use plastics!
DINNER: join us again back on the beach at 530pm for some more cocktails and dancing and then catered cuisine form our favorite Cuban Restaurant. cake and bevies will also be available all evening as well.
FRIDAY
BREAKFAST: Everyone will be on their own for Breakfast and Lunch on Friday. We recommend doing some of your own shopping at Publix Market on Marathon if you need anything specific. We also love breakfast at Irie Eats (you’ll have dinner there on Friday!) and there’s Marathon Bagel Co for a quick bite too!
LUNCH: we recommend places like Herbies, Sparky’s, Island Fish Co, or Havana Jacks! Not sure exactly what the Bride and Groom will want to do, but you’d be welcome to join us if we head out somewhere! Maybe this is the day we do Herbie’s! Stay tuned ;)
DINNER: Robin and Kip Storey are hosting EVERYONE Friday night at Irie Island Eats! It will be a sober event as they don’t have an alcohol license so please drink mindfully before ;) We will absolutely have some drinks out ON US at the beach around 5pm that night. So stop by the Cay Condos beach!

BREAKFAST: we hope to have lots of coffee and a simple bagel spread available for everyone Sunday morning on the beach. please join the bride and groom to reminisce about the night before and wake up together with some carbs and coffee!
LUNCH: leftovers? do your own thing? eat at one of the places we’ve recommended that you haven’t tried?
DINNER: Sparky’s again - because it’s our favorite. Everyone will be responsible for their own bill.
